Microsoft Edge has a built-in importer that automatically detects and imports data from the system's existing browser. You can choose the data type to be imported and let Edge complete the import process.

Microsoft Edge renders the page content when we enter the site address. However, sometimes, it doesn't return the content but displays a blank or white screen instead.

It is a temporary issue with the rendering engine within the Edge app that can be resolved with a system restart, upgrading the WebView runtime engine, clearing the older data, etc. We can also reset the browser app if the issue persists.

Install Chrome Web Store Extensions in Edge browser

Microsoft Edge is built on the Chromium project, which is compatible with the Chrome Web Store. Hence, we can add any Chrome extensions to the browser.

The Edge browser has a feature that enables vertical tabbing for the open tabs. We can manage the vertical tab feature from the Appearance Settings menu or use the Tabs action menu.

Remove the ‘Bing AI Chat’ icon from the Microsoft Edge browser

Microsoft Edge has added the Bing Discover Chat powered by ChatGPT in the address bar area in line with the sidebar.

It is enabled for all Edge users by default. However, we can easily disable the Discover chat icon from the 'Notifications and apps settings' within the browser's Sidebar settings page.

Toggling off the 'Show Discover' option will hide it from the screen.
