In reply to Curtis. Hi Cutis, Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome are developed with the same Chromium backend. Hence, you can follow the same steps as mentioned in the new Microsoft Edge browser.

I had this problem in the past with Chrome. I just shut down Chrome from the taskbar and then reopened it. I have now just had the same problem with the new Microsoft Edge browser. It came back on its own after minimizing and then restoring it a couple of times.

I use a HP pavillion which has a touch screen monitor, i was shocked when the mouse just disappeared on chrome but the first solution on this article itself fixed the problem! great article!

The same problem on my Surface Go 2. Mouse disappears causing confusion and questions. I followed the instructions but none of them worked for me.
I just changed the language from Greek to English UK and worked immediately. Mouse pointer is back. I will let you know if this comes back

I’ve had my laptop for nearly a year. The problem started yesterday (6/13/20). The chrome/settings tip (disabling) fixed it, until the cursor disappeared again today; so, the task manager tip worked. I created a word doc with your tips, as they are the most thorough. thoughtful & logical I’ve seen. I’ll also bookmark chrome://restart. Bad Google! Aarrgh!

chrome://restart worked for me as well. I have to remember this command for always, as I have pretty often this issue on my Dell Latitude with TouchScreen. I hope google comes with an permanent solution for this.
